Love Never Fails

(1st Corinthians 13 – the love chapter)

If I speak in the tongue of men and angels but have not love, I am only a banging gong or a clanging symbol. And if I have the gift of prophecy and can understand all mysteries – and if I have a faith,that can move mountains…love never fails...
If I give all that I have to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love – I gain nothing…

Love never fails…love never fails – it never fails!

Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, slow to anger, forgives all wrongs…Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices in the truth – always protects, always trusts, always hopes – always perseveres…love never fails!...

Prophesy will cease, tongues will be stilled, knowledge – will pass away…Now we know in part, and we prophesy in part – but when perfection comes, all else disappears.

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child-had the mind of a child – but when I became a man I put those ways behind me…

Now we see a poor reflection in the mirror, then we shall see – face-to-face, now I know in part – then I will fully know. And now these three remain – Faith, Hope and Love – but the greatest of these – is Love…

Love never fails…love never fails – it never fails……
